New Orleans funk powerhouse Captain Green, just on the heels of their 10 year anniversary, has released new music in collaboration with soul singer Jovin Webb. The three songs on “The Mack” highlight the dexterity of the band and its arrangements of funk and soul songs in their own style.
Over the past 10 years Captain Green has established a reputation as a band you won’t want to miss in the Southeast Region.
They have been a part of music festivals such as Wakarusa, Bear Creek Music Festival, Revolution Fest, Suwannee Disc Jam, Bay Fest, Secret Stages, and Live After Five. And have graced the stage with acts such as George Porter Jr., Dumpstaphunk, Snarky Puppy, Rebirth Brass Band, Bernie Worrell, Jonathan Scales Fourcestra, The Main Squeeze, and Soul Rebels Brass Band.
